Here’s breakfast #1 from Part A, Week 3, SSHE – delicious cranberry-nut roll with nutty fruit spread:
This is the 1,200 calorie version which came with a roll, a plum and a cream cheese (not the nutty fruit spread that was advertised).
It cracks me up that SSHE adds subjective words to the names of their entrees like “delicious”, “trendy” and “popular”. If it’s really so delicious, trendy or popular, shouldn’t that be evident to the consumer? Unfortunately, like so many things that include subjective words, this did not live up to its name. The roll was fairly dry but somewhat aided by the cream cheese. I had to grab’n'go this breakfast, and maybe it would have been better if I had access to a toaster. It had some nuts and dried cranberries in it.
On top of the less than satisfying roll, for the first time I had to toss out the plum. Half of it was soggy in a way that only plums can do. I’m hoping this is an abnormality, because if I have to supply my own fruit that kind of defeats the purpose of being on SSHE!
So, all in all, breakfast could have been better.
