Here’s breakfast #1 from Part B, Week 3, SSHE – breakfast wrap with salsa & juice:
This is the 1,200 calorie version. The 2,000 calorie version had two wraps and two grape juices. I heated it in the microwave wrapped in a wet paper towel to soften the tortilla.
Oh how I love breakfast burritos. Are they not the perfect breakfast fare? The heartiness of an egg dish combined with the grab’n'go convenience of a burrito. While this version was fairly simple, consisting of only scrambled eggs and cheese, I still was thrilled to eat it. The salsa that came with it was fine, although a little on the sweet side and not spicy enough for me.
I promise I’ll stop complaining about the juices eventually, but come on.

There are two more eggs?
Hi Roverella,
I’m not sure how many eggs came in each wrap, due to the nature of the scrambled egg substitute that they used. Let me know if you have more questions!

This was very tasty and filling! I sprayed a non-stick skillet with Pam, and cooked the burrito in the skillet, which made the tortilla nice and brown, and a little crispy, and melted the cheese. The salsa was ok, but not spectacular, might use my own salsa next time. I was excited about the grape juice (I like juice!) but it was syrupy sweet, kind of a bummer. Not nearly as good as the pineapple juice from a previous breakfast. But I am always a fan of a breakfast that has eggs because the protein really helps keep me going through the morning. I will look forward to having this again and will dress it up differently next time (maybe with some spinach if I have some).
