Here’s dinner #2 from Part B, Week 3, SSHE – heirloom ravioli:
The 2,000 calorie version is on the left with two extra cheese raviolis. I heated these in the microwave and they came out great. The breadsticks went in the toaster.
Yum yum yum! This is another one of those dishes that makes you feel like you’re not on a diet. It was a good portion of pasta plus the ricotta cheese filling didn’t skimp on taste. There was a good amount of Prego-type sauce but of course I always wish for more. I usually douse my pasta!
It seems in general that the diet meals that are Italian inspired do pretty well. Perhaps it’s because of the low calorie pasta sauce and less calorie dense cheeses? Later in the week we will have spaghetti with meat sauce and we’re already looking forward to it!
The only complaint my fiance had was he wishes his had more broccoli.

Mine came with a little “garlic toast” which I toasted briefly in the toaster oven, I microwaved the ravioli. They were very tasty, and filling! A good amount of sauce with some cheese on top too. The broccoli was just right, cooked but not mushy. A really good meal.
