Here’s lunch #1 from Part B, Week 3, SSHE – whole baked potato with chili, pre assembled:
This is the 1,200 calorie version. The 2,000 calorie version had more chili and (American) cheese.
I put the chili on the potato and placed the cheese on top like so:
And then I put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes since baked potatoes take so long to warm up. It came out like this:
SSHE always calls baked potato dishes, like this and the broccoli cheese one from last week’s dinner ”popular” and it’s easy to see why. It was fantastic! The chili itself was great, it had chunks of tomato, onion, pepper and ground turkey. Together it was very tasty, I could eat this every day for lunch. And you know, I didn’t even miss all the sour cream and butter.

OMG, this was the best lunch yet!! I completely agree with the above assessment, the chili was delicious. I microwaved the chili with the cheese on top so it was all melty and stirred it in. Then I heated the potato halves. I put the potato in the bowl and poured the chili on top. Ate it up and licked the bowl clean! LOL I can’t believe how good this was. I am just continually impressed with how the SSHE food has no artificial taste to it. I haven’t loved everything, but nothing has tasted like frozen diet food usually tastes.
